Today the plant is also cultivated in America: North and South, Australia, Israel. The composition of the oil, which is also called vegetable wax, is unique. It contains amino acids, fatty acids: eicosenoic (71%), docosenoic (20%), vitamin E and wax esters. The properties of these elements make the product very popular in cosmetology and medicine. Using oil in hair and scalp care can solve the following problems:

  • excessive greasiness;
  • dandruff and itching;
  • damage, fragility;
  • low level of humidity;
  • lack of shine, unhealthy appearance;

The strands acquire elasticity, become smooth and shiny, and more easily withstand negative external influences, coloring, styling using thermal devices and other manipulations.

Reviews on the use of jojoba oil for hair

This is one of my favorite oils. First of all, I like its versatility and action. I use it for everything: for hair roots and ends, for the face and for the body, but for the body I mix it with olive or coconut; one jojoba on the body is not economical, especially since I smear it liberally on the body. I started using it for my hair, I immediately liked the lightness of the oil, especially in comparison with burdock. I apply it at night over the entire length, add it to masks and apply a little oil to clean hair. To say that I liked the result is to say nothing. I'm shocked, my hair really doesn't split, and this despite the fact that I dye my hair blonde! My hair always got split ends when I didn't dye my hair at all. They did not split too much, but there were forked (1–2 mm) ends. Previously, it always seemed to me that the only way to deal with split ends was with scissors, but it turns out that jojoba oil also helps a lot. Somehow I ran out of jojoba oil and forgot to buy it, I didn’t use it for about 3 months and discovered a split hair, I was horrified! I'm so out of the habit of it. I bought jojoba oil and now I make sure that I always have it and recommend it to you. Of course, it will not remove the existing split ends, but it will not allow the healthy ends to split in two.

I bought jojoba oil after reading so many positive reviews about it! I didn’t regret it - it suited me 100%! Hair grows right before your eyes! The secret of use is quite simple: mix sea buckthorn and jojoba oil in a 1:2 ratio, use your fingertips to evenly distribute the oil (warm!) onto the scalp, massage for 10 minutes, then apply to the ends of your hair and comb your hair well! We put on a shower cap, a warm towel heated on the radiator and wait for 30 minutes (preferably an hour!). Rinse off, rinse your hair and say WOW! It is also a good idea to add jojoba oil to industrial masks, a few drops at a time, maybe a teaspoon. The hair is significantly transformed, thicker, shiny, silky to the touch, and takes on a well-groomed, healthy appearance. For blondes it’s a real lifesaver! Highly recommend!

Jojoba oil, used alone or mixed with other oils and products, is an affordable and effective scalp and hair care product. It can be used to solve existing problems or preventive measures. The result of competent and regular care with jojoba oil can be no less impressive than the effect of using expensive balms and industrial masks.
