On October 18, diamond miner Letšeng Diamonds announced the production of two extra-large diamonds at its Letseng mine in the northern part of the Kingdom of Lesotho. The stones featured are a 245 carat type II white diamond mined on October 15, 2021 and a 102 carat type II white diamond mined on October 16, 2021.
Thanks to them, the total number of extra-large diamonds mined at the mine this year increases to 5.
