The first hotel was named Hotel des Horlogers. In June 2020, Audermars Piguet opened a state-of-the-art atelier museum that explores the history of watchmaking in the Swiss Valley of Joux. Its exposition includes about 300 watches, as well as operating workshops where visitors can watch the work of the masters of the manufactory.
Now museum guests can stay at the Audermars Piguet Hôtel des Horlogers. The architecture of the hotel, built from scratch in Le Brassus, is no less futuristic than that of the museum. At the same time, like the museum building, the hotel pays special attention to compliance with environmental standards.
The hotel, which has 86 photovoltaic panels on the roof, meets the Minergie-Eco requirements for energy efficiency and sustainable building, the hotel is paper-free and has a zero-plastic policy, and uses its own spring water bottling system. Most of the materials used in its construction are locally produced. The SPA center and restaurant La Table des Horlogers also receive products exclusively from Swiss producers.
