As one of the most influential beauty influencers, you are primarily associated with the beauty industry. Based on this, is jewelry for you just an addition to makeup or is it still a separate tool for self-expression?
Jewelry for me is the most important element that completes the image. Sometimes jewelry becomes just the last piece that collects the whole image, like a puzzle.
What kind of jewelry do you prefer and are there any special criteria that a piece must meet in order to be included in your jewelry collection?
In jewelry, I prefer basic and "safe" options that go with everything and that I can wear for decades. But I prefer to buy some extra trendy things in jewelry. Also, I do not like to often change jewelry in my ears and on my fingers, so I mostly buy pendants and necklaces from trends. In addition, the practicality of jewelry is important to me: I do not take them off when I go to the shower or swim in the sea, so it is important for me that the jewelry does not require any special care.
Do you have mascot jewelry? Those that you put a special meaning into, or in which you find a source of inspiration?
I began to collect a collection of Cartier bracelets, each of which was purchased in anticipation of certain events in my professional life. For example, I bought the first bracelet when I personally met Anastasia Soare (Anastasia Beverly Hills). To me, this is an example of a woman who started from scratch and became a billionaire through her makeup talent. I bought the second one in honor of the collaboration with the MAC brand. The third one I dedicated to reaching 500 subscribers on YouTube.
Can you name your most expensive and most valuable piece of jewelry?
The most expensive piece of jewelry that I have purchased on my own is a Cartier gemstone bracelet. Its cost today is 8400 euros. And in terms of meaning, each of my jewelry is expensive for me and means something.
Is buying jewelry for you usually a planned event or just an impulsive decision?
If it's buying jewelry, it's always a long process of thought. I do not like to change jewelry, so it is important for me that I like the product, but at the same time it is practical to wear and does not require additional care. Impulsively, I only buy budget jewelry, which I use a couple of times for filming.
What do you think, what jewelry should be in the personal collection of every woman?
I think it would be nice to add earrings, a pendant and a bracelet to the basic jewelry wardrobe, all in basic models and in whatever metal you like best. For example, small studs, a pendant with a heart and a neat chain bracelet with a pendant or a stone. This is what will add composure to your image, but at the same time will not be an eyesore. I think it's worth investing in a basic jewelry wardrobe as these pieces of jewelry will last decades with you. But I would recommend looking at trendy jewelry, especially in jewelry, only in case of an unlimited budget or when the base is already assembled.
