Microtrend: diamond necklace and high neck

Jewelery and bijouterie

Officially allowed! The trend for jewelry over clothes is growing and this time we are offered to wear diamond necklaces over dresses and high-necked tops. This stylistic technique was most clearly demonstrated by Hailey Bieber, visiting the party of the jewelry house Tiffany & Co. in their new pop-up space located in the heart of the Miami Design District. Laconic dress from Saint Laurent, the model added two pairs of diamond earrings at once and a brilliant combination of several necklaces.

We are inspired by the dazzling exit, but we pay attention to several important nuances. Quoting the image verbatim, give preference to fitted silhouettes and restrained colors. Having opted for a dress, give up the abundance of details and decorative elements (at least in the portrait area). In addition, make sure that the sizes match, especially in the neck area - if the neckline does not follow its outline, but hangs with a wide collar, then your diamonds have every chance to go unnoticed.

A few words about freedom of expression. As part of this stylistic device, some changes are quite acceptable: crystals can be a great (and more affordable) alternative to diamonds, and pants/skirt and turtleneck can be worn instead of a dress. It is also not necessary to build layered combinations if this does not suit your personal preferences. Settle on a pair of jewelry, playing with different sizes or complementary motifs.

It is noteworthy that the products are easily adapted to any stylistic tasks and can decorate both an evening out and everyday outfit.

Of the other recommendations, it is best to refrain from voluminous styling, lush curls, as well as overly dramatic makeup. In this case, less is more!
