Classic and beyond: 3 new models in the Perrelet Weekend collection

Wrist Watch

The Swiss brand Perrelet has expanded its Weekend collection with three new models: the classic Weekend 3-Hands three-turner, the Weekend 3-Hands Open Hearth version with an open balance and the Weekend GMT world time display.

All three new items have a thin case (diameter 39 mm, thickness 9,56 mm) made of stainless steel or steel with PVD coating in rose gold color. The dials are protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, and the back is protected by a transparent mineral glass. The water resistance of the case is 50 m. And now we will tell you about each version in more detail.

Perrelet Weekend 3-Hands

Probably the most laconic of the three new products: the classic three-switch in a steel or PVD-coated steel rose gold case. On the dark blue or black dial, there are applied hour markers in the form of thin stripes. For better readability of the readings at the 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock positions, the strips are double. The date aperture is located at 3 o'clock. At the heart of the watch is the automatic Perrelet P-321 movement. The balance frequency is 28 vibrations / hour, the power reserve is 800 hours.

The open balance model is also available in stainless steel or rose gold PVD steel. The same goes for the color of the dial: it is either blue with a radiant pattern, or black. Arrows and labels - similar to the basic three-arrow model. The main difference is visible to the naked eye - it is a round aperture at the bottom of the dial, through which you can admire the work of the balance wheel. Inside there is an automatic Perrelet P-391 movement - 25 jewels, the balance frequency is 28 vibrations / hour, the power reserve is 800 hours.

Perrelet Weekend GMT

Finally, the novelty with the GMT function is available with a steel case and PVD rose gold plating. The colors of the dial have not changed either: black with a radiant pattern or blue. Unlike its “brothers”, in addition to thin hour markers and central hands, an additional 24-hour scale with Arabic numerals appeared on the dial. The thin central hands are responsible for the local time, the short arrow with a red tip is responsible for the “home” time. The date aperture is located at 3 o'clock. The model is powered by an automatic Perrelet P-401 movement. Like other versions, it is built on 25 stones, operates at a frequency of 28 vibrations per hour, and has a power reserve of 800 hours.
