Casio unveils first analog G-Shock Frogman GWF-A1000

Wrist Watch

Casio fans have been waiting for this premiere with bated breath! And so, on April 22, Casio officially unveiled a new flagship in the iconic G-Shock Frogman diving line - the Frogman GWF-A1000.

The novelty was the first model in the Frogman collection with a fully analogue dial and the introduction of the Carbon Monocoque design (one-piece case, no separate case back) as part of the Carbon Core Guard technology, similar to the GravityMaster GWR-B1000 models.

Traditionally, the new Frogman has an asymmetrical body that does not hinder the movement of the wrist underwater. Like all predecessors, the new GWF-A1000 has a 200m ISO certified water resistance. The body itself is made of carbon-reinforced polymer, which provides a combination of lightness and strength. The model has a two-layer bezel stainless steel, sapphire crystal and reinforced rubber strap with steel buckle.

Functionally, the GWF-A1000 model is equipped with a Tough Solar battery with a charge level indication, a Multi-Band 6 radio synchronization system, a Smartphone Link (Bluetooth) wireless data transmission module with automatic time and date adjustment, an alarm clock and a phone / clock search. There is also a stopwatch, a countdown timer, and a bright LED Super Illuminator.

The novelty is presented in three colors. The caseback of the new Frogman GWF-A1000 is engraved with the traditional "frog" - this time with an arrow in hand, symbolizing the first analogue watch in the line.
