Review of Japanese men's watch Casio G-Shock GA-100B

The sky-colored ultra-strong quartz watch is the opposite - that's how you can describe the Casio G-Shock GA-100B-7A watch in one sentence. Indeed, this watch would be completely blue, with small white inserts - part of the sky would be located on the wrist, but the G-Shock GA-100B - 7A is snow-white, and small blue inserts emphasize the beauty of the white case.

The G-Shock GA-100B watch certainly wouldn't survive a fall from the sky, simply because the G-Shock craftsmen haven't yet built a case that's so durable. If ever a watch is made that can withstand a fall from the sky, it will most likely be the Casio G-Shock watch.

In the meantime, this G-Shock model pleases us with excellent shock resistance indicators - even a fall from a height of the third floor onto concrete cannot break this watch. G-Shock GA-100B are good not only for their resistance to purely mechanical damage - strong vibration and magnetic radiation will not disable this watch.

Without exception, all G-Shock watches owe their famous strength to the advanced “armor” that the model presented in our today's review has also put on. The notorious fortress of the watch is achieved due to the appropriate dimensions - the case diameter is 55 mm, the thickness is 16,9 mm, and the weight is 70 grams.

The case protects the watch mechanism from the harmful effects of the outside world, but what about the protection of the dial? And here the G-Shock watches are perfectly protected, covered with tempered mineral glass. The dial itself will tell and show its owner a lot of interesting information.

The time on the Casio GA-100B wrist watch can be read in two places at once: on the circular scale and in a small "window" in the lower left corner of the dial, while the "window" in the lower right corner is reserved for the calendar. Both of these "windows" can also be occupied by the work of a stopwatch with an accuracy of readings up to 1/1000 of a second and a countdown counter equipped with auto-repeat.

An important feature of this model is the presence split chronograph. Any indication of the watch is easy to read in the dark, for this you just need to turn the watch to your face, after which the LED backlight will work automatically.

These days, G-Shock watch owners sometimes hear opinions that any “shocks” will outlive their owner even in the event of a catastrophe that destroys all of humanity. This opinion is not conducive to the appearance of a good mood, but it is pointless to argue with these people, because they are completely right - the G-Shock watch was really technologically ahead of its time, being the most durable Casio watch to date. And the GA-100B-7A model only confirms this truth.
