Delma Blue Shark III will support the ecology of the Azores

Wrist Watch

In 2019, the Delma brand introduced the Blue Shark III model. The watch was presented in the year of the 95th anniversary of the company and the half-century anniversary of the first accessory for divers in the line. The limited edition, which is limited to 500 pieces, features an impressive level waterproofness - 4000 meters. The company explained the choice of numbers as a source of inspiration for Blue Shark III: surprisingly, it was not the sea, but Switzerland with its many mountains, including 48 peaks over 4000 meters high.

Two years later, the Blue Shark III received two new versions and a social mission. Delma has dedicated a watch to the archipelago where the Azores are located. The Blue Shark III Azores sales should help support the Megalodon Project, which is being implemented in partnership with Delma Ambassador, Ocean Conservation Specialist and Photographer Magnus Lundborg.

The series includes two watches that are water-resistant up to 4000 meters, as well as indispensable attributes of watches ready for diving: a helium release valve at 9 o'clock, rotating unidirectional bezel and large numbers with luminescent markers. Glow in the underwater dark coating SuperLuminova there are also arrows.

Blue Shark III Azores have massive corps size 47 mm x 18,5 mm. Depending on the version, the bezel retains a steel sheen or is black DLC-coated. Fans of conquering the underwater depths will appreciate the color scheme of gradient dials... Delma designers used the most popular marine shades: blue and green.

The automatic Swiss automatic caliber Sellita SW200 with a 38-hour power reserve counts down the time.

Steel braslet, which sells the watch, should be replaced with the included additional black rubber strap before completing the next underwater mission. Together with the Blue Shark III Azores, the buyer receives a wooden box equipped with special compartments for an additional strap and tools (they are required to change the strap).
