When movies began to be made about insidious, dangerous and charming criminals, the clock, literally and figuratively, played a role in it.
"Casino"

The hero of Robert de Niro - the sharper and schemer Sam "Ace" Rothstein - contacts the mafia and grows fabulously rich.
