Frederique Constant watch for the 70th anniversary of Austin-Healey

At the London Motor Show in October 1952, Leonard Lord, managing director of the Austin Motor Company, became interested in the Healey-100 car, created by designer Donald Healey (by the way, the car was equipped with an Austin A-9 engine, so the interest was quite justified). The result of this fateful meeting was the emergence of the iconic British brand Austin-Healey. 70 years later, in honor of this meeting, which marked the beginning of the joint development of sports cars, Frederique Constant released two limited editions at once, dedicated to the company's partner, Austin-Healey.Creation of the British brand Austin-Healey

Frederique Constant presents watches in partnership with Austin-Healey with enviable regularity. For example, in 2020, the company offered to purchase a Vintage Rally Healey Automatic three-hand switch, complete with a miniature copy of the legendary Healey NOJ393.

The color of this famous car, sold in 2011 for 1 million euros, is also painted in the new Vintage Rally Healey Chronograph Automatic. This is British green, typical for racing cars from the UK.
