G-SHOCK expands its flagship MR-G series with the premium MRG-BF1000R, titanium armored and water resistant to 200 meters. With an attractive asymmetrical shape, the watch is housed in a titanium alloy case made up of over 70 parts, including signature seals and shock absorbers to enhance the shock-resistant construction.
To increase durability, a protective structure with buffers made of fluoroelastomer has been developed, installed between the case and the bezel (serves as a damper in case of drops and shocks). The dial is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, the same on the back, but with a bright blue coating and the iconic image of the FROGMAN frog.
Excellent technical performance is represented by an impressive range of features (including Bluetooth®, solar power, radio time synchronization). Separately, we note the tide data for more than 3000 points around the world, as well as the hour and minute hands, which merge into one mechanism when immersed, providing good visibility and greatly simplifying the countdown of minutes spent underwater.
The approximate cost is about 5 USD (the British division of G-SHOCK announced the price of £000 GBP).
