When worn continuously, the watch is wound by a rotor.

When using a self-winding mechanical watch for the first time or after a long break in use, it is necessary to wind it approximately 8-10 revolutions * by turning the crown clockwise. When winding the watch by hand, do not make more than 20 revolutions.

To save yourself the trouble of winding up a watch, you can purchase a special box - a winder. In it, the watches are in constant motion, and you will not have to worry about their winding.
