Translated from Latin, "Invicta" means "invincible." The company was founded in 1837 in Chiasso, Switzerland, and to this day is considered one of the leading manufacturers of stylish and elegant Swiss watches. The main focus of the company remains unchanged: each of their creations is skillfully crafted accessories at an affordable price. This direction is followed by Invicta, creating mechanical and automatic watches.

The devices produced by the company have gained high popularity among celebrities and professional athletes. Packaging and delivery
The packaging certainly looks premium, and at the same time it hides an expensive accessory securely. The top cover made of soft black cardboard covers the box made of more durable and dense yellow cardboard. The box bears the Invicta logo, as well as an inscription that reads "Invincible in detail since 1837".
The inner space is a yellow cardboard lodgment, and in the center, on a small cushion, there is an Invicta IN22646 watch, to which a small polyurethane plate with the company logo is attached. Along the perimeter there is additional protection in the form of a black cardboard insert.
On the inner surface of the top flap there is an envelope with the Invicta logo, in which there was a place for a quick start guide and a warranty card.
Design and appearance
Model Invicta IN22646 is an original product that was created to decorate a woman's wrist. The case of this women's mechanical watch is made of stainless steel and has a nice silver color and a streamlined open design. Invicta IN22646 can hardly be called a small and elegant women's watch (an explanation for this will be a little later) - this watch will definitely not go unnoticed!
The bold overall dimensions of the case are 35 mm in diameter and 13 mm in thickness. The total weight of the watch (including the strap) is 57.3 grams. But at the same time, they look very gentle and vaguely resemble an amazing bug (ladybug) in shape.
This model is equipped with durable mineral glass, which has excellent performance properties, but is slightly inferior in its technical characteristics to sapphire crystals. It is important to remember here that mineral glasses are a product of the processing of mineral rocks. Glasses of this type undergo special hardening, after which they acquire excellent indicators of hardness and scratch resistance, and are not much inferior to sapphire ones. The Invicta IN22646 uses a unique Flame Fusion glass patented by the Invicta Watch Group.
Under the glass is a skeletonized white dial in the shape of a heart, framed by a red frame. On the dial there are hour markers in the form of designer Arabic numerals: "11, 12, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6", followed by hour markers in the form of dots with a diameter of about 2 mm. Numbers and dots are painted in silver color. The feuilleton (leaf-shaped) hands are painted red (hour, minute and second). From the base, each side of the silhouette curves outward, then back inward before meeting at a point.
Also on the dial there was a place for the Invicta logo, an inscription informing the user that this is a watch from the Objet D'Art collection, as well as the inscription Automatic, which says that the watch is fully automatic.
The side surfaces have a convex relief. One of the side surfaces is completely smooth, and the second is a corrugated crown. The head is comfortable, does not slip in the fingers.
The back surface is combined. The screw-down transparent case back has an outer ring, which is made of chrome-plated stainless steel. It contains a number of technical information, then - a glass round insert through which the watch mechanism is perfectly visible.
As for the heart of the watch, or rather, its mechanism. There is information on the official website that the Invicta IN22646 is equipped with caliber 2650 (Nickel), but, to be more precise, the 2650SSZ modification is used in this case. This affordable Chinese-made movement is silver-plated and designed specifically for use in skeleton watches.
The outer diameter of the movement case is 27.0 mm, the thickness of the movement is 6.9 mm, the overall height from the bottom of the movement to the top of the fly gear is 7.7 mm. The movement uses 20 jewels. 2650 (Nickel) is a self-winding movement in which the spring source of energy rotates when the hand moves, charging the spring automatically. A distinctive feature of all self-winding watches is a more accurate movement, durability and larger case dimensions, compared to classic hand-wound watches.
The leather-lined textile strap is 18mm wide and 190mm long and features a classic buckle closure. The proud inscription “Genuine Leather Lining” flaunts on the back of the strap.
Ease of use and functional features
First of all, I want to say about the readability of the dial. Often, skeleton watches have difficulties with this. Fortunately, Invicta IN22646 is free from this shortcoming. A well-thought-out design, large numbers and hour markers, plus red hands make it possible to determine the exact time without any difficulties. The course of the hand is moderately smooth (for a mechanical watch). Positioning on the hour markers is clear, largely due to the large size of the marks themselves.
The view of the working mechanism is fascinating, although in relation to the Invicta IN22646, we see only a part of the mechanism, while its main component is hidden under the dial.
As for the power reserve, a fully cocked mechanism can work up to 24 hours, and this is a very impressive indicator of autonomy. It is important to remember about the mechanism itself, namely, that it is self-winding, that is, in fact, we get the following: if we wear watches regularly, we do not need to wind them up on purpose. During the day, they wind up automatically from the movement of the pendulum every time your hand moves, and if you use them for everyday wear, then until the next outing, they are guaranteed to run smoothly and you can remain confident in them. If the watch is left idle for a longer time, it will stop. However, it is enough just to shake them for the mechanism to work again. This is an undeniable advantage over quartz watches.
Having carefully studied the technical specifications, you can see that the watch has a water resistance of 50WR. It is important to understand here that we are not talking about any diving and training in the pool. With such a watch on your wrist, you can wash your hands without fear, get caught in the rain, but in general, the watch should be protected from contact with moisture. You should not take them to the beach or wear them to a workout in the pool: if water gets on the crown, it can seep inside.
In general, in my opinion, Invicta IN22646 is a very good mechanical watch with a stylish design and an inexpensive, but fairly accurate movement. The model is undoubtedly very feminine, and at the same time, it has an original self-winding design, and, as a result, a more massive performance. The skeleton, figured body and accent elements definitely deserve attention.
In conclusion, I would like to recall that each Invicta watch model produced undergoes strict control and is subjected to more than three hundred individual tests. It is one of the few companies certified to use Swiss quality certificates.
