Louis Erard men's watch from the 1931 collection

1931 - the year of foundation of the Swiss company Louis Erard. The flagship collection of the brand is also named, in which, against the backdrop of a classic design, successful experiments are being carried out with ways to display a particular function. Louis Erard is an absolutely amazing watch brand, one of the few that does not inflate the price tag due to a big name, while remaining at a high technical level.

But back to the original indication. The black dial is divided into two unequal parts. Almost all the space is dedicated to the standard three-hander with Arabic numerals and luminescent coating on the hands and labels. At the 12 o'clock position, there is a Big Date complication in an elegant round frame. And in the lower part, under the name of the brand, there is a disc with time indication in the second time zone. The hour is indicated by a red mark below the dial at 6 o'clock. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides.

The side of the case is engraved with the inscription "Dual Time 1931". On the other hand, on the crown, there is also an engraving - with the brand's monogram.

The middle of the back case is transparent, through which you can observe the work of a first-class automatic movement (caliber ETA 2892 with module TT651) with a decorative finish.

There are other color options for this model - with a silver-white or gray dial. They all come with a black leather strap with a folding clasp.

The standard diameter of the steel case (by modern standards) is 44 mm.
