Oris, which dates back to June 1, 1904, decided to celebrate its birthday this year with the release of a new model in the Holstein Edition series. It is dedicated to the company's hometown - Swiss Hölstein - and is complemented by the image of the company's mascot - the Oris bear cub - on the back of the watch. In 2022, the company chose an unusual basis for a limited edition: Oris Holstein Edition 2022 is a re-release of the 1998 Steel Worldtimer sports model. The Oris Caliber 690 movement used in it made it easy to adjust the local time in hourly steps using the “+” and “-” buttons (these symbols can also be found on the dial in the form of red signal flags). The Oris Holstein Edition 2022 watch is presented in steel case with a diameter of 36,5 mm. Inside is the same Oris Caliber 690 movement with small seconds, date, home time indicator with day/night indicator, 38-hour power reserve and Oris signature red rotor.
