In the assortment of the Swiss-Belgian watch company Rodania, the sports style collection Leman occupies an important place. Basically, these are men's diving models with a 43-mm case, waterproof up to 200 meters, as well as 34-mm women's models, with less, but also solid water resistance - 100 meters.
Not so long ago, this collection was replenished, in its male part, with new products - the Rodania Leman Supersport line. Still in a solid 43mm size and with the same 200m water resistance (you can dive with scuba diving), the Leman Supersport has a number of notable differences. First of all, in functionality: for the first time in the Leman collection, a watch appeared with an indication of not only the date, but also the day of the week. Of course, in addition to the three central hands - hour, minute and second. By the way, the first two hands, like the hour markers, are luminescent, and the third (second) is brightly highlighted in color.
The protection of the crown, which is more emphasized than before, is also striking. But another major innovation can be overlooked at first glance. It's about the material from which the watch case is made. We are used to the fact that Rodania always has 316L stainless steel. But all models of the new collection are titanium. Titanium is at least not inferior to steel in terms of corrosion resistance, while it is much lighter (with equal strength) and, moreover, is absolutely hypoallergenic.
Of the constant characteristics for Rodania, here is a Swiss (this is a must!) Quartz movement and sapphire crystal. The main features of the Rodania Leman Supersport watch are reflected by markings on the dial: titanium, Swiss movement, sapphire and WR 20 ATM. The bezel is marked with a clear 60-minute scale. The watch is securely held on the wrist by a comfortable water-resistant silicone strap with a classic buckle.
The three-year international warranty is also unchanged, as is the case for all Rodania watches, as well as its increase to 5 years, subject to purchase from an authorized dealer and subsequent registration on the rodania1930.com website.
Currently, the new line includes four models, differing in color schemes of the dial and strap.
It can be assumed that this is just the beginning and that the Rodania Leman Supersport line will grow with new models, in particular, on bracelets. We are also waiting for the appearance of equally reliable and at the same time stylish watches for women, and, probably, with even more varied colors.
