A watch in Italian: the style of the great Salvatore Ferragamo on your wrist

Wrist Watch

The history of the brand began in Hollywood, where an Italian shoemaker named Salvatore Ferragamo made fashionable shoes for actresses - and along the way patented new models, for example, cork platform sandals. In 1927, Salvatore, who was not yet thirty, returned to his native Italy and opened his own company in Florence. Celebrities did not leave him: he shod Audrey Hepburn (Ferragamo developed a special model of ballet shoes for her), Marilyn Monroe and the first lady of Argentina Eva Peron.

After the death of the master, his company continued to develop. In addition to shoes and accessories, the Salvatore Ferragamo brand launched the production of watches in cooperation with Timex Group Luxury Division. All watches are made in Switzerland, which is reminded by the Swiss Made marking. And the traditions of Salvatore Ferragamo are reminiscent of the recognizable details that distinguish the accessories of this brand: a Gancino metal loop, a flat Vara bow (such a bow made of a rep ribbon usually adorns the brand's ballet flats) and a stylized flower - the shape of the heel section of fashionable Italian brand shoes.

Ferragamo style

The Ferragamo Style watch dial is encrusted with mother-of-pearl in the shape of a stylized flower with rounded petals - just like the cross-section of the heel of the best-selling shoes invented by Salvatore Ferragamo in 1947 and seventy years later, returned to the brand's collection with the light hand of designer Paul Andrew, who now occupies the post of creative Director of Salvatore Ferragamo. A saffiano leather strap or a Milanese bracelet in rose-gold-plated steel and diamonds on the evening version of the model give this watch a truly Italian elegance.

Double gancini

The Double Gancini watch is a tribute to the traditions of Salvatore Ferragamo. Laconic polished steel rectangular case, white dial without hour markers and a bracelet composed of classic Gancino loops. The links connecting them are engraved with the brand's logo.

Flower

Fiore model case with bezel in the shape of a flower with six petals, they resemble all the same shoes with figured heels - a magnificent creation by Ferragamo more than seventy years ago. The same motif repeats the mother-of-pearl laid out in the marquetry technique on the dial. A studded strap (exactly the same as on Salvatore Ferragamo shoes and bags) doubles around the wrist. The model is offered in a polished steel case with a white dial and a white strap, or in a blued case with a black dial and black strap.

F-80

The women's chronograph F-80 embodies sporty chic: a massive 44 mm case made of steel with a rose gold finish and a characteristic grooved rubber strap attachment looks dynamic, and gentle play of mother-of-pearl, with which the dial is trimmed, lends the model a romance. The dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.

Ferragamo 1898

The Ferragamo 1898 collection is named after the birth year of the founder of the Salvatore Ferragamo brand. The model SFDG00718 in a rather large steel case with a wide bezel set with square-cut diamonds weighing 0,09 carats, embodies the quintessence of smart casual urban style. The pale pink mother-of-pearl dial features laconic 1970s-style hour markers and a date aperture at 3 o'clock. A massive large-link steel bracelet emphasizes the fragility of a woman's wrist. Sapphire crystal resistant to scratches.
