Oddly enough, most ladies' watches are designed by men. However, the Perrelet company decided to leave this difficult task to a female representative. One of the youngest Perrelet designers, Carmen Vögeli, took over the development of the ideal women's watch. She was faced with a difficult task - to revive a cold mechanical heart and to embody all women's dreams in it.

To work on the project, she locked herself in her room for almost several months. The result was an elegant timepiece in the spirit of the times with the enchanting name Diamond Flower. And even if this case, when the design remains with a woman, is far from the first, but it still remains a relatively rare phenomenon in the watchmaking world. On the other hand, who, if not a woman designer, knows better than anyone what watch can win the heart of the beautiful half of humanity?

After the triumph of the first Diamond Flower models, others followed. Today our review includes models Diamond Flower and New Diamond Flower.

Diamonds and flowers - these two things have always awakened and will awaken delight in women. The Diamond Flower and New Diamond Flower watches carry the romance of flowers and the luxury of diamonds that beckons and enchants. It is simply impossible to think of a more feminine and seductive combination!

The most luxurious model is called the Diamond Flower. Thanks to inlaid diamonds, the bezel and dial not only look organic, but also rightfully claim to be an evening luxury in its most beautiful sound. The case is made of steel and has a diameter of 38 mm. In the center of the mother-of-pearl dial, as if on a pedestal, there is a lotus flower - a symbol of purity and perfection. The case and dial of the model are adorned with 89 diamonds, 19 more rubies have taken their places on the flower petals.

More affordable, but no less beautiful models are presented in the New Diamond Flower series (price 185 rubles). The watch is “dressed” in a more miniature steel case with a diameter of 850 mm and is devoid of an excessive touch of glamor, which did not allow earlier wearing “diamond flowers” ​​to work or a business meeting. But now the model can fully claim to be a classic with small elements of luxury.

Of course, they did not completely deprive the watch of the brilliance of diamonds. Four Roman numerals and petal-shaped indexes are set against a guilloche pattern that radiates sunlight, three of which are lightly powdered with the soft glow of 24 precious stones.

By the way, while remaining true to its philosophy of readable dials, Perrelet placed fixed petals on them so that they served as divisions of the hour scale.

Crocodile leather belts are available in white or black and are equipped with a buckle with the brand's logo.

By the way, it is the butterfly clasp that securely fixes the watch on a fragile woman's wrist.

The crown is adorned with a blue cabochon-shaped stone, which undoubtedly brings an aristocratic touch.

Of course, the aesthetic component in these models plays a decisive role, but, nevertheless, one cannot but say about the technical side. After all, it's not so easy to revive the dial! And the smooth swaying of the flower on the dial is hard to miss!

The watch uses a proprietary "double rotor" system. The lotus, located in the center of the dial, not only attracts the eyes of others, but also plays the role of an additional source of energy. The rotor flower gently sways in time with the movements of its owner's hand, thereby transferring the necessary energy to the self-winding mechanism. Both rotors are perfectly synchronized on both the back and the dial.

The in-house caliber P-181 with a double rotor (Double Rotor) made it possible to bring such a complex system to life. The power reserve is 40 hours for the Diamond Flower and 42 hours for the New Diamond Flower.

According to Perrelet, self-winding watches are best suited to the needs of today's active women. A kind of symbiosis of perfect relationships!
