To obtain oil, the fruits of the southern tree of the same name, which grows mainly in Italy, Greece and Spain, are used. The cold pressing method makes it possible to produce 1-3% of the composition from primary raw materials. The product has a pleasant aroma with a hint of citrus and a yellowish-green color.

Due to the specifics of its manufacture, bergamot oil is essential, and not basic, it is less oily and concentrated.

Bergamot Oil Reviews

Since childhood, I love the scent of Bergamot very much, when I smell the scent of Bergamot, I remember my childhood, how I sat with my mom and dad in the evenings, drank tea with the scent of Bergamot, talked heart to heart, and now I am a mother myself !!! Now I will tell you about the properties of the oil. The oil has a sedative and tonic effect. It relieves nervous tension, relieves anxiety and improves mood. I advise everyone to take a bath with bergamot oil or make an aroma lamp for 1,5 hours. Add 10-15 drops + 2 tablespoons of warm water to the aroma lamp, put a candle down the aroma lamp. I also advise for respiratory infections, bronchitis, to facilitate breathing. The oil has many useful properties, and it is useful for hair, and it can be smeared for the face and even nails, they will not exfoliate.

The smell of the oil, of course, is very vigorous, it will be on the hair all day, not everyone around it will be pleasant. But the hair after it is very soft, smooth (I add it to the shampoo). You need to be careful, as the oil can cause burns if the dose is incorrectly calculated.

It was with him that my oil addiction began. Before that, I bought up cosmetic oils, and after that I got hooked on essential oils. Bergamot is, in my opinion, a truly feminine oil. Its magical smell and beneficial properties will enrich any mask. I always put a couple of drops into a foam or into a tablespoon of any carrier oil and pour it into the bath. Then you don’t need to smear with any creams and lotions. The skin is soft, delicate and just fragrant. I drip into all sorts of homemade face masks. After it, the skin becomes less oily. I add a couple of drops to the shampoo, and then you don’t recognize the hair, they are very soft to the touch and shiny. And most of all I like to add bergamot to salt peeling for the scalp. I take sea salt (fine), drip 3-4 drops of bergamot oil, 2 drops of mint ether and 2 drops of rosemary oil, pour 2 teaspoons of almond and castor oil, sometimes I add cedar (cosmetic) oil. Once I wash my head with shampoo, then I rub oil-salt peeling into the scalp (you need to rub gently, otherwise you can injure the skin and pinch), leave it for 5-10 minutes (or more), then rinse again with shampoo. Hair is more voluminous and falls out less (later). But immediately after applying the peeling, they can sprinkle abundantly right when rinsing off. This “removes” weak hairs, which would themselves fall off in a day or two. But then the scalp breathes, the hair becomes stronger, grows better.

I used to have a lot of oils and my mother constantly complained about dandruff and asked me to do something. I read a recipe on the Internet, add a few drops of bergamot to a cosmetic little and rub into the hair roots. I don’t remember how long the dandruff disappeared, but it has been gone for many years (and before it was just a nightmare). I still don’t know how to use this oil, but it helps with dandruff perfectly. I recommend it to all lovers of natural cosmetics. Bergamot contains furocoumarins. These substances have the property that leads to strong pigmentation of the skin. Therefore, you can not rub yourself with bergamot oil in the summer, or before going to the solarium.

Essential oils occupy a large place in my life. I have a lot of oils, they are of different directions and from different companies, but I want to highlight 100% bergamot essential oil in particular. A dark glass bottle with a built-in pipette, 10 ml is inexpensive. The aroma of the oil is subtle, bitter, mysterious, inspiring. And it's not just the flavor. I always have this oil, I use it both in an aroma lamp and in cosmetology. In an aroma lamp I use 5-6 drops per 30 sq.m. The room is immediately filled with a wonderful smell of bergamot, there is a surge of strength. Oil is always present in my office, it helps to concentrate and solve complex problems. In cosmetology, I use oil in masks with blue clay, and sometimes when washing. The oil well helps to remove inflammation from the skin, and also normalizes the work of the sebaceous glands over time. I recommend the oil to teenagers with oily skin and poor perseverance.

Due to the wide content of useful substances, bergamot oil is often used as an additive in the composition of masks intended for application to the hair, face and nail plates, as well as in aromatherapy. The oil has a healing, antimicrobial and rejuvenating effect on the surface of the face and body. Inhalation of aroma eliminates headaches, lowers blood pressure, relieves fatigue and overexertion.
