Berets are the most fashionable headwear

Female

A beret is an accessory that can be purchased alone for a pair and worn in turn. Or have a whole collection and exchange. It is not only fashionable and cost-effective, but also very environmentally friendly.

New Creative Director of Kenzo Fashion House NIGO (real name Tomoaki Nagao) showed us the versatility of this headwear in his first men's fall-winter collection. The designer complemented plain berets with inscriptions and added them to looks with bomber jackets, kimono jackets and trouser suits. He also recommends wearing the accessory with a coat topped with checkered breast aprons, a Japanese garment worn during the tea ceremony.

However, Nigo is far from the first to introduce berets into wardrobes. For the Dior fashion house, this headpiece is a symbol. At first, berets appeared in women's collections, and later began to appear regularly in men's collections. In the new season, Kim Jones showed rounded structured berets and suggested that they be worn a little to the side, like Parisian artists from old films.

Ruigi Villaseñor in the men's Rhude collection combines classic two-piece suits with leather berets worn at the crown. In this way, he tries to capture the spirit of Wall Street in the 1980s and the style of stockbrokers. Francesco Risso has created a modern version of freestyle grunge in the Marni Resort collection. It offers knitted multicolored berets paired with jerseys, pantsuits, skirts over trousers and a wide variety of prints.
