The 96th Academy Awards ceremony took place in Los Angeles. The main award of the ceremony was expectedly received by “Oppenheimer”. Christopher Nolan, who directed Oppenheimer, was named best director. Cillian Murphy, who played Robert Oppenheimer, took home the statuette for best actor. Robert Downey Jr. was recognized as Best Supporting Actor.
