The Swiss watch company presented a special edition inspired and dedicated to the work of Jean-Michel Basquiat. This unique model pays tribute to the extraordinary talent and iconic work of the American artist, combining neo-expressionism and traditional watchmaking precision.
The color scheme of the watch corresponds to the main palette of Basquiat's works (rich yellow, blue, red, orange). Decorations include the iconic crown at 12 o'clock (a symbol of class struggle and inequality) and the famous dinosaur "Pez Dispenser" in the center of the dial. You can also notice the abundance of intersecting lines and the spiral motif (a reminder of the complexity of existence), and a reference to the main themes of the artist’s work (Life. Death. Man.)
The watch is powered by Caliber RW5030 with a 56-hour power reserve, which can be viewed through the transparent sapphire crystal case back.
