A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Chronograph Hampton Court Edition

Wrist Watch
A. Lange & Söhne showed a watch made for the London Concours of Elegance, a vintage car competition that takes place at Hampton Court Palace on the left bank of the River Thames in London in early September. Then a unique version of the 1815 Chronograph was sold at the Geneva Watch Auction, and the proceeds were donated to the Prince of Wales Charitable Foundation.

The uniqueness of the “Hampton Court Edition” version is in the combination of a white gold case, a black dial and a sand-colored numerals and scales (including a tachymeter scale framing the dial). A small seconds indicator and a minute counter contrast with the black background.A. Manual winding, flyback function, jumping minute, 18 semi-oscillations per hour and 000 hours power reserve. And, of course, the traditional decoration, from which the heart stops.A.
