Bvlgari Aluminum Sorayama with Hajime Sorayama

Wrist Watch
After a chronograph dedicated to Ducati and a model honoring the oldest ship in the Italian navy, Bvlgari is expanding its iconic aluminum watch line with a new creation created in collaboration with Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama.Bvlgari Aluminum Sorayama watch

The circular pattern on the dial of the Bvlgari Aluminum Sorayama is inspired by the fuselage of the Spirit of St. Louis, on which Charles Lindbergh made the first non-stop solo flight across the Atlantic Ocean in May 1927. The second feature of the new watch is the deuce as the only remaining figure on the dial. The answer to the mystery of this figure is in the birthday of Hajime Sorayama. He was born on February 22 in the 22nd year of the Japanese Showa era.

The 40 mm aluminum case with a titanium case back houses the BVL 192 self-winding movement with a 42-hour power reserve. Bvlgari Aluminum Sorayama on a rubber strap with aluminum compounds is limited to 1000 pieces.
