In honor of the important date, the company presented four novelties at once: the DiaStar Original 60-Year Anniversary Edition, developed in collaboration with Swiss industrial designer Alfredo Haeberli (before the project with Rado Haeberli, he created dishes for Iittala and designed a sofa for Andreu World), as well as three DiaStar Original with blue, gray and green dial. All models feature a recognizable case with a Ceramos top and faceted sapphire crystal.
The case and dial of the DiaStar Original 60-Year Anniversary Edition are designed in the same monochrome color scheme. The watch is complemented by a sapphire crystal with hexagonal edges. So Alfredo Haeberli celebrates six decades since the release of the original watch.
The 38 x 45 mm case is made of steel, but the top bezel uses Ceramos material (in the case of the DiaStar Original 60-Year Anniversary Edition, with a radial satin finish).
The dials of watches from the DiaStar Original trio also have their own feature - a pattern obtained due to brushing in different directions for individual zones, as well as a vertical window for the date and day of the week.
Above the dial is a sapphire crystal with vertical edges. The height of the case with a water resistance of 100 meters is 12,3 mm. The anniversary novelty has a Milanese weave bracelet, while other novelties use a more traditional steel bracelet.
The watch is equipped with an automatic caliber Rado R764 with a gold coating and a power reserve of 80 hours.
