At this year's Watches and Wonders, Zenith has updated the Pilot collection with the Pilot Automatic XNUMX-hand and Pilot Big Date Flyback chronographs.
Both novelties debuted in two versions (in steel and matte black ceramic) and with a striped black dial (this pattern should be reminiscent of the corrugated metal sheets of the skin of the first aircraft).
The Pilot Automatic is equipped with the El Primero 3620 automatic movement with a 60-hour power reserve and a frequency of 5 Hz, while the Pilot Big Date Flyback is powered by the new El Primero 3652 tweeter (it is based on the El Primero 3600, to which the date and flyback function for chronograph).
The diameter of the three hands is 40 mm, the chronograph has slightly larger dimensions - 42,5 mm.
The Pilot Automatic features an interesting date window below the straight bar (a reminder of the skyline on aircraft instruments).
The ceramic chronograph looks more austere, while the steel version uses playful colored hands.
