At Audemars Piguet, this approach was implemented in the 1991 Star Wheel model, the reissue of which was a novelty. However, there are differences, and not only in design. The new version of the watch stays true not only to the unusual concept, but also to the usual central second hand.
The dial is made of aventurine glass, the discs are made of aluminum with a black PVD coating. The case ring is made of black ceramic, while the bezel and caseback are made of white gold. Case diameter — 41 mm. Inside is caliber 4310 with a power reserve of 70 hours.
