Inspired by Samurai Armor - Limited $ 8000 G-SHOCK

Wrist Watch

In honor of the 25th anniversary of the premium G-Shock MR-G series, the company unveiled a unique $ 8000 watch inspired by samurai armor. They were based on armor specially created for this role, by the famous master Suzukine Yuzan. The watch bezel is made of ultra-hard material Cobarion, which is made of cobalt-chrome alloy and is about four times harder than titanium. The case and bracelet of the model are made of titanium alloy, which is three times harder than a pure element.

To work on such a durable metal, Komatsu Kazuhito, a Japanese gem cutter and gemstone cutter, awarded with all kinds of prizes and awards, was hired. He invested all his talent, using a similar cutting technique, and achieved the creation of a multifaceted shape and the appearance of a mirror surface in the metal.

The case and bracelet with dimensions of 54,7 x 49,8 x 16,9 mm are made of black titanium alloy DAT55G. In addition, a beautiful contrast is created by the brown AIP (Arc Ion Coating) on the body. In addition to the presence of the engraving with the inscription "25TH LIMITED", it is important to note the intricate pattern on the dial, reminiscent of chain mail weaving.

The Hana-Basara MRG-B2000BS-3A model will be released in a limited edition of 400 pieces and is available for purchase on the official website.
