Budweiser x G-Shock - new shock collaboration

Wrist Watch

The new G-Shock collaboration clearly claims a place in the ranking of the most spectacular joint projects of the Japanese watch brand. Here the new product is opposed by serious rivals. G-Shock integrated watches into the figures of transformers, decorated the dial in the form of a multi-layered Big Mac, made watches with the Gorillaz group and rapper A $ AP Ferg, the fashion house Maison Martin Margiela and former surfers from Stussy, sports brands Asics and Burton, dedicated watches to the Seven Gods of Happiness in Shintoism and the achievements of NASA.

And even with such a glorious history, the DW-5600BUD20 has every chance of hitting the top. After all, this watch was developed in conjunction with the world famous Budweiser brand, owned by the American brewing concern Anheuser-Busch.

The company has been making Budweiser since 1876 and is confident that its founder, Adolphus Bush, who came to America from Germany in 1857, was able to change the American attachment to heavy dark ales thanks to an original recipe. Now the beer is so popular that it humbly calls itself the King of Beers.

The Budweiser x G-Shock DW5600BUD20 watch, which is presented on the American market for $ 200, is made in the signature colors of the "beer king". The classic case DW5600 has a white bezel and is complemented by a red strap, on the underside of which the name of the alcoholic brand is placed. The Budweiser name can also be seen on the steel belt loop. The back cover was adorned with the image of an eagle - the Anheuser-Busch logo.

The display is flanked by vertical red stripes with the word Genuine, just like the classic Budweiser can at the top and bottom. By the way, this word is an abbreviation for the phrase Only genuine as decreed by the courts, which adorned the historical packaging.

But perhaps the most interesting thing about Budweiser x G-Shock is the packaging, which resembles a crate of Budweiser beer and includes an exact replica of the beer can and lighting. When electroluminescent lighting is activated, the Budweiser bow tie symbol appears on the dial.
