The release of the watch was dedicated to the training ship of the Italian Navy Amerigo Vespucci, so the presentation was held on board the most majestic three-masted ship. The guests were greeted by Admiral Aurelio De Carolis, Commander-in-Chief of the Italian Navy, Lelio Gavazza, Bvlgari Executive Vice President of Sales and Retail, Fabrizio Buonamassa Stiliani, Executive Director of Product Development at Bvlgari, and Captain Massimiliano Siragus of Amerigo Vespucci.
The guests were able to attend the flag lowering ceremony and dinner on deck with a live performance by Gianluigi Lembo and his band. The perfect setting to appreciate all the benefits of a novelty made in the colors of the oldest ship of the Italian Navy!
The 40 mm watch case is made of aluminum and complemented by a rubber strap. Inside is a BVL 192 self-winding movement with a 50-hour power reserve.
On the back of the Bvlgari Aluminum GMT Amerigo Vespucci Special Edition watch, you can see the inspiring inscription Non chi cominicia ma quel che persevere (Not the one who starts, but the one who perseveres) is the motto of the ship, which is also engraved on the watch box.
The model with the GMT function is released in a limited edition of 1000 pieces.
