Seiko Astron GPS Solar became the first in the world sundial with function GPS. They do not require an external power source, using light energy. They connect to the GPS network and display the time with the precision of atomic clocks.

The new limited model Astron GPS Solar 2013 has retained its former dimensions (body diameter 47mm, thickness 16,5mm), but significantly "threw" in weight.
