Mens watch Buran from the Admiral collection

In the 90s. of the last century, under the name Buran, some of the most famous Russian watches were produced. In 2006, production was moved to Switzerland (Porrentruy). This is how new collections with the “swiss made” stamp appeared on the dial. Swiss movements complemented the Russian design aesthetics in the best possible way.

Buran products have nothing to do with mass, conveyor assembly. Only 500 copies are published per year.

Let's make a reservation right away: the manufacturer reserves the right to change the color of the strap. Blue or brown - it depends on the collection (old or new). Therefore, it is worth checking the color with the managers when ordering. By the way, the strap is made of Louisiana alligator leather and is attached with a folding clasp with the company logo.

Well, now let's move on to the most important thing. Watches of this kind are usually inherited through the male line. The non-standard design of the case and dial indicates the nobility, the ancient family, the blue vein of its owner.

This chronograph shows the time in two formats: 12- and 24-hour (this function is especially convenient to use when changing the time zone, so as not to let the watch down again).

The stopwatch is divided into three subdials. The 60-second counter is indicated along the inner circle. The 30-minute counter is located at 12 o'clock. This counter contains a dual aperture displaying the day of the week and month. The 12-hour counter is located opposite - at the 6 o'clock position. The lunar calendar is inscribed in this counter. The date is displayed with a central arrow that points to the numbers in the outer circle.

Hour and minute hands and hour indices are blue. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal.

The chronograph buttons are smooth, but the crown is, on the contrary, fluted. The side of the case is engraved with the name of the collection: "Admiral". The inscription is embossed on a tiny plate screwed to the body. By the way, about the cogs: the lugs of the case are decorated with transparent crystals.

The most beautiful thing about this watch is its lively automatic heart. One of the world's finest movements, the ETA 7751, is renowned for its unsurpassed precision, versatility and a 42-hour runtime. The self-winding rotor is decorated with Geneva stripes and the blue company logo.

The steel case is covered with a layer of gold plating with a thickness of 10 microns - this figure indicates the service life of the coating. The watch will remain intact for at least 10 years.

The case diameter is quite standard - 42mm, but the thickness is slightly more than usual - 14,6mm. The water resistance is low - only 30 meters, which is perfectly acceptable for an expensive watch.
