New versions of Zeitwerk by A. Lange & Sohne

Wrist Watch
In 1841, Johann Christian Friedrich Gutkes, together with his colleague Ferdinand Adolf Lange, created an unusual clock for the Dresden Opera. They used a digital readout in five-minute increments.
Clock for the Dresden OperaThis watch was the inspiration for the Zeitwerk by A. Lange & Söhne in 2009, with jumping hour and minute indicators.

Today the company has released new versions of the model - in platinum and rose gold. The watch is equipped with an improved caliber L043.6 with a power reserve increased from 36 to 72 hours. Hours and minutes are displayed in 2,9 x 2,3 mm digits. Three disks are used - hourly, with tens and units of minutes.

Another change: now you can set the indicators separately using the button at 4 o'clock. To ensure that adjustments do not interfere with the timing, a patented vertical clutch disengages the watch disc from the momentary shift mechanism each time the button at 4 o'clock is pressed. To adjust the minutes, use the crown to "2". The case size is 41,9 x 12,2 mm.
