0/+2 seconds per day is the new accuracy from Omega. Achieving this performance from the new Speedmasters was achieved using the Spirate system with a silicon spring and the ability to fine-tune in 0,1 second increments by influencing the stiffness of the balance spiral. The adjustment wheel is not hidden from view - it can be seen from the side of the back cover.
Over time, Spirate is going to be introduced to other models, but for now it is the prerogative of the Speedmaster Super Racing watch in a 44,25 mm steel case. Inside the case is a Co-Axial Master Chronometer 9920 with a power reserve of 60 hours.
The bee theme is revealed in the decoration of the watch. It was not chosen by chance: the Speedmaster was released in the year of the 10th anniversary of the Seamaster Aqua Terra >15'000 Gauss with a movement that is not afraid of magnetic fields. For the 2013 watch, a combination of yellow and black and a striped hand were also used, here the idea was deepened by adding honeycombs on the dial.
The novelty has a black ceramic bezel with a hot-enamelled tachymeter scale and an additional NATO strap.
