This year, Hublot has introduced a new complex watch with a biaxial tourbillon and a double retrograde time display: the MP-13 model has appeared in the MP collection, associated with revolutionary innovations.
First used in the Hublot MP-13 Tourbillon Bi-Axis Retrograde, the double retrograde movement (both minutes and hours) is housed in a 44mm brushed titanium case.
The skeletonized biaxial tourbillon makes a full revolution in one minute in one plane and every 30 seconds in the other. The airy construction creates the visual effect of the complex tourbillon floating in the air on its own. The upper bridge has disappeared here, and the number of auxiliary parts has been reduced to a minimum.
The two central hands on the dial slide over the two arcs, jumping back to the start after reaching the finish line.
Hublot engineers made sure that the complex model was practical. The MP-13 movement guarantees a power reserve of at least four days, with an energy reserve indicator at 11 o'clock. The MP-13 Tourbillon Bi-Axis is a limited edition of just 50 numbered pieces.
