Enclosing the dial is a carbon fiber case made using an innovative and patented 3D printing process, a process that is said to have never been used before in watchmaking.
The technology, developed by the Swiss Federal Institute ETH and applied to the aerospace industry, combines carbon fiber and polymer, resulting in a light and hard material. The watch is complemented by a gray PVD titanium bezel and a black textile strap.
The total weight of the watch is only 65 grams. Limited to 1000 pieces, Oris Coulson Aviation is powered by the caliber 400 with a 5-day energy reserve.
