When opening a product card on the seller's website, the first thing we see is information that Invicta watches are made in the USA, but it is important to make a remark. The company's roots are in the Swiss town of La Chaux-de-fonds. It was here, back in 1837, that Raphael Picard founded Invicta on the basis of a small watch shop owned by his family. A few years later, watches produced under the Invicta brand could be bought in many European cities. The hallmark of the devices of this manufacturer is high quality workmanship, exquisite design and affordable cost. I would like to note that in addition to wristwatches, today Invicta's arsenal has found a place for jewelry, but I will talk about this another time.
In today's review, I want to share my impressions of the Invicta IN32295 mechanical watch.
Packaging and delivery
The mechanical watch Invicta IN32295 is delivered in a black cardboard box with a removable top cover and a folding side platform. The lid is inscribed with INVICTA collection.
Inside the box is a stylish black case made of Zama leather. The case has a stitching, an embossed top surface, as well as the INVICTA logo. The interior is lined with a cream-colored material that visually resembles suede. In the middle of the box there is a small platform, inside of which there is a soft cream-colored pillow with a clock.
The delivery set includes:

- Warranty card;
- Microfiber cloth;
- A warranty card that allows you to register your watch and thereby extend the company's warranty period to three years.
As the saying goes, you can't judge a book by its cover, but it's the cover that makes the first impression. Therefore, the manufacturer reacted responsibly to this issue. In general, the case looks stylish and solid, but upon closer examination, small flaws become noticeable (for example, unevenly fitted internal rates).
Design and appearance
The watch case and bracelet are made of two-tone stainless steel (silver and gold shades). The overall dimensions of the case are 37 mm in diameter and 13 mm thick. The strap width is 18mm. The metal surface is smooth and shiny. This is achieved by applying a protective layer of Ion Plating to the watch case and bracelet, which is an ion deposition with an intermediate hypoallergenic layer. It is important to note that this decision is inherent in almost all watch manufacturers - Invicta IN32295 is no exception to the rule.
The fixed golden bezel is adorned with lots of crystals. The dial is covered with mineral glass. Unfortunately, this is not sapphire glass, but its analogue, obtained during the processing of mineral rocks. This glass is somewhat inferior in its characteristics to sapphire glasses, but in general, the surface hardness and scratch resistance of mineral glasses are at a decent level.
Moreover, the manufacturer's website contains information that watch glasses are produced using a special Flame Fusion technology, which is patented by Invicta Watch Group. The manufacturer claims that glasses produced using this technology are not inferior in quality to sapphire ones. Unfortunately, there is no way to verify this statement and you have to take the manufacturer's word for it.
The analog dial is made of yellow metal, inside of which there is a slot for the movement and classic Arabic numerals. At the same time, instead of the numbers 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 (odd positions), there are marks on the dial with crystals integrated on them, similar to those that adorn the bezel.
I would also like to say that the Invicta IN32295 mechanical watch is equipped with Dauphine hands, which have been quite popular on the dials of classic models since the 18th century. The shape of the arrows in the form of a wide base, a narrow sharp top and a counterweight, repeating the shape of the upper part, only wider. The arrows are painted in golden color. This watch model uses hour, minute and second hands. The progress of the second hand is quite smooth and has a small step, and therefore its position almost always coincides with the hour markers.
The crown is gilded, has small grooves, which are designed to provide a more secure grip of the crown when winding the watch. The crown has a double stroke. The first - fixing, the second - allows you to change the indications of the hour and minute hands. I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the Invicta IN32295 watch is mechanical, which means that counterclockwise rotation of the hands is highly undesirable.
The back cover is transparent. It is also made of glass, apparently similar to that which covers the dial. Personally, I like this solution. It is always interesting to observe the work of the clock mechanism, and in this model, this can be done both from above and from below.
The mechanical watch is equipped with the ST6DSK self-winding caliber. Unfortunately, I did not find any information about this caliber on the Web. It can only be said that self-winding in this model, it works according to the classical principle, i.e. The watch is equipped with a special spring mechanism, which rotates at the moment of movement of the hand, thereby winding the spring.
Since we are talking about the movement, here I would like to draw your attention to the fact that such a thick case (I previously mentioned that the thickness of the case is 13 mm) is due precisely to the presence of a self-winding movement, because. initially it is larger than the classic hand-wound movement. At the same time, it is important to note that this type of mechanism is considered to be more accurate and durable in comparison with classical mechanics.
As I mentioned earlier, the bracelet is also made of stainless steel, with links in silver and gold tones. The links are covered with a protective layer of Ion Plating. The place of attachment of the strap to the ears is played very interestingly. At the ends of the bar there are knobs in the form of nuts with a notch for a flat screwdriver.
In order to remove the bracelet, we need to unscrew the nut. Of course, the manufacturer has provided the ability to adjust the length of the bracelet. Adjustment is carried out by removing the extra links located near the lock. Up to five links can be removed on each side.
The lock mechanism used with this watch model is “butterfly”. In general, there should not be any difficulties with adjusting the bracelet in length. Even if the farm does not have a special mechanism designed for these purposes, you can squeeze the pins out of the bracelet using tweezers or a needle.
Functional features and ease of use
Speaking about the functional features of this model, all that can be said is classic mechanics without unnecessary bells and whistles. The watch has water protection 50WR. To an experienced user, this indicates that this model has been tested in laboratory conditions at a constant pressure, identical to the pressure of water at a depth of 50 meters. This, in turn, suggests that with this watch you can take a shower, wash your hands, walk in the rain or swim in the pool. But do not work too actively with your hands, because. the watch mechanism may not survive this.
Of course, we must not forget about the automatic winding mechanism. Fully cocked clockwork was able to work 28 hours. Of course, the results of my measurements cannot be called accurate, because I cannot say that the mechanism was fully cocked, but in general, the result obtained was quite expected. 26-30 hours of battery life is about what we can expect from the Invicta IN32295, and this is enough to not think about the need to wind the watch every day. In my opinion, the Invicta IN32295 mechanical wrist watch is aimed at business style, but the decisive factor here is that it is a women's accessory, and it is difficult to say anything for sure.
The case thickness of 13 mm and weight of 110 grams are due to the presence of a self-winding movement. On the female hand, the watch looks elegant and stylish, there is no feeling of homeliness and pretentiousness.
Separately, I want to dwell on the build quality. All elements fit perfectly to each other, there was not a single element on the watch case and strap with poorly processed chamfers or crooked gaps. There are no traces of dust under the glass. All this suggests that this model has a high build quality. The watch is not easy. When wearing this model, a pleasant, unobtrusive heaviness is felt on the hand, which once again focuses the owner's attention on a stylish accessory.
In general, the Invicta IN32295 watch leaves very positive emotions from wearing and operating, and we must not forget that the model belongs to the category of budget devices.
