The beauty of nature in the new Gucci Allegoria High Jewelry collection

The Gucci Allegoria show took place at the brand's headquarters in Florence Jewelery and bijouterie

The Italian House of Gucci found inspiration in the four seasons for its new High Jewelry collection Allegoria. Gemstones and intricate earrings, necklaces and bracelets serve as an allegory for beauty and nature's ability to constantly change.

The presentation of the Gucci Allegoria collection took place in June at a special event at the brand's headquarters in Florence. The choice of location for displaying the collection is not accidental, because... in 1921, Guccio Gucci founded a company in this city and loved to call Florence his home. In the 1970s, Gucci bought the building, where it set up its headquarters and large-scale archive, and you can get inside only by invitation.

The Gucci Allegoria collection is a breathtaking celebration of nature's fleeting beauty, capturing the essence of each season in exquisite designs and vibrant gemstones. The first part of the collection is dedicated to spring. Jewelry designs are filled with the joy and lightheartedness of this season. Bold hues and gemstone combinations evoke lush blooms that span grasses, bushes and trees.

The central creation of this line is a necklace with green tourmaline weighing 226 carats. The stone is attached to an openwork gold chain, adorned with baguette-cut diamonds and star motifs, one of the iconic emblems of the House.

Also stunning is the cushion-cut pink tourmaline necklace weighing 161 carats, which is surrounded by white diamonds on a chain with colored enamel and 72 tourmalines weighing 88 carats.

The second part of the collection is summer, which stands out with rich jewel tones.

Emeralds, spinels and Paraiba tourmalines reflect Gucci's call for the summer season. White gold earrings sparkle with neon drops of Paraiba tourmaline, pink spinels sparkle in a necklace studded with cheerful yellow chrysoberyls, and deep blue tanzanites bring ocean coolness to a white gold openwork necklace.

Warm and muted tones of russet, apricot and saffron in the collection's pieces reflect the next season - autumn. To decorate this part, the company's jewelers chose yellow sapphires, pink tourmalines and spessartines (tangerine garnets).

Yellow gold lion head earrings feature an asymmetrical arrangement of tourmalines and diamonds reminiscent of a sunset. And the lace collar necklace features a heart-shaped copper-colored garnet and soft pink sapphires.

The collection completes with cool shades of winter. Milky opals and sparkling white diamonds contrast with the unbridled energy of previous seasons. For example, in one stunning necklace, blue and white enamel on white gold highlights the frosty hues of a 92,85-carat snow-white opal cabochon. At the same time, the creations of this part do not instill a feeling of hopelessness: a kaleidoscope of small colored stones gives confidence in the return of spring.

The uniqueness of the Gucci Allegoria collection lies not only in its one-of-a-kind jewelry designs, but also in the use of vintage European-cut gemstones. The Antique Cut is an ode to the Art Deco period, an era characterized by a harmonious, geometric design style, luxury and lively creations. Gucci jewelers reflected all these characteristics in the jewelry of the Allegoria collection.
