Must have of the season: how to wear brooches

Jewelery and bijouterie

The only thing that remains unchanged is the choice of several products at once. We suggest starting with a pair of brooches of approximately the same size. Design, color and even material are at your discretion. Both options made of noble metals with precious stones, as well as jewelry made of porcelain or enamel, are relevant. Vintage brooches or their modern interpretations are still popular.

If you still need recommendations, it makes sense to take a closer look at jewelry with rich artistic content. These can be graceful outlines of reptiles (lizards and snakes are especially honored), voluminous flowers/plants, or an artistic reinterpretation of a recognizable symbol/motif. The main thing is that the brooches have a special meaning for you: then the jewelry is transformed into an eloquent form of communication (like aristocrats and representatives of the royal family).

How to wear?

We hone our technique. The safest option, which does not require special skills, is to wear brooches on the lapel of a jacket, coat or cardigan. We duplicate the arrangement if we wear jewelry with a sweater or turtleneck.

You can try attaching the brooches to your waist (be careful, they should not restrict movement or cause discomfort). Two products look very stylish, decorating the neck like a tie (right in the center of the shirt collar).

What to combine with?

If we are talking about a basic jewelry wardrobe, then brooches go great with rings, bracelets and watches. But you need to be a little more careful in the portrait area, maintaining a balance of shapes and sizes. For example, if you prefer massive earrings or a large pendant, a statement brooch on the chest will be clearly superfluous. At the same time, it will ideally complement a set of sleek earrings and a miniature pendant in a classic style, enhancing the dynamics and adding character to the most basic jewelry.
